Teporia is a new design-minded and online-only outdoor brand on the rise. We were asked to direct the digital-first start-up from the very beginning, from the product to its digital dimension.
We started with positioning, and then we crafted a brand-new narrative, setting down the identity, digital touchpoints, and new designs - CMF too. With the artistic direction of Margherita Rui, we built a digital-first start-up innovating the retail-centric world of Italian design with an exclusively online offer.
Teporia comes from the Italian word Tepore, it stands for cozy heat and a pleasant, slightly breezy climate. Based on the values of Beauty, Pleasure and Openness, Teporia breaks down the boundaries between interior and exterior, imagining home interiors, but outside. The identity reflects the message Teporia wishes to convey. The logotype communicates a confident and updated brand personality, the gentle movement of the R’s type leg suggests a sense of freedom and enjoyment that enriches the overall sturdy feeling of the logo. The color palette we crafted exclusively for the brand conveys an updated, confident and positive feeling while the tone of voice is based on simple sophistication; a tasteful vocabulary that everyone understands with no effort.
As creative director of Teporia, Margherita Rui designed the new Rada outdoor collection. A living room without walls: the Rada collection reinvents outdoor space as if it were another room in the house. Named after the natural inlet that shelters ships, the collection is made up of lounge and dining area sets, and sun beds. The modular design of the sofa, an iconic element of the collection, offers the possibility to configure the outdoor space for different social situations, just like in a real lounge area.
Teporia will debut presenting six new collections: Nesto by Tommaso Caldera, Juta by e-ggs, Sartia by They Simply Design, Fune by Andrea Radice and Rada collection designed by Margherita Rui, the brand's artistic director. The products capture the designers’ perspective on the open-air room, a whole "outdoorism" work.
The brand values of Beauty, Pleasure and Openness give shape to a warm and embracing open-air vision shaping Teporia’s photo and video imagery captured by Omar Sartor, Maurizio Polese and Botega Digital Craft. Can you feel it?
In partnership with Calicantus, we designed Teporia website and e-commerce, and now only a mantra exists: get your daily escapism without compromising on style, price, or Italian design - in a click.
We crafted a social media strategy, differentiating the content on the brand’s channels to amplify the brand’s There’s-no-place-like-outdoors message.
